Booked my honeymoon reservation for the Fountain Beach Hotel 8/9 - 8/18. They gladly took my
credit card number and charged three days deposit. What they failed to tell me was that the place
you see on their website isn't what it used to be. No water in the pool or fountain, the restaurant
is boarded up, large dead roachlike bugs all over the property (inside and out), the manager is back
in the states and there is no staff on the premises. The place looks like it hasn't been maintained
in quite some time. It appears that getting my money back will be difficult if not impossible, but
if you call the reservation number they will gladly take your deposit even though they know the place
isn't fit for human beings. We're not the first this has happened to, but we hope to be the last.
