The hotel was great. Lot's of great food. Breakfast was the usual. All the stuff that you would expect over by 10:30. Lunch was either the buffet which changed everyday or the beach Bar, burgers, fish burgers and grilled cheese. Lot's to drink at least 8 different special drinks everyday. Make your own Pina Colada's with pour yourself rum.
The beach is fantastic. We were there 13 years ago and there was almost no waves. This time we had two days of very small waves.
The shows and bands were great and the hotel did a wonderful job of New Years.
Lot's of beach chairs and shade. We never had a problem finding them even if we arrived on the beach at 11 am.
We booked all of our reservations the first day and except for the Maitre D's at the Italian and Seafood restaurant the staff were fantastic.
The only thing is the restuarants can not handle more than 8 people at a table so if you are going with a group you might want to consider this. Also there are bars at each of the restaurants that you may want to consider for before meal drinks.
The rooms were clean and simple. Very large balconies, big enough for a single bed which is installed on each one along with 2 chairs and a table. All rooms have somewhat of an ocean view.
The island was great and we drove around it one day.
We would recommend this hotel as one of the better island all inclusives
Thanks to Wayne for this trip report ...
