Hi ,my sis and I just returned this week from d. republic (playa grande) area "occidental allegro carribbean village resort" and it was great, amazing food, people were very warm and friendly, made and met many friends, fun shows,night club was also entertaining, beach was beautiful and weather was hot,hot,hot..... the resort is at a bit of a distance for exploring but since its been our 4th time in D.R. it was a new location to experience and lots and lots of activity in the resort daily.
warm wishes to our activity reps (maximo,alex,d.j. and cocorulo the clown of them all) they were great and unforgettably friendly. so if your looking for a resort to relax have some fun and just enjoy beach,pool or the weather this is the one to go to. oh yes 18 golf course in the resort is amazing too....
it was great and we'd go back anytime .....
