We just came back from another Caribbean destination, actually pretty close
and similar to the Bahamas: Providenciales, on the main island of the Turks
and Caicos. Great beaches, Grace Bay is a prime beach location, and
unbelievable colors of the waters. Fantastic snorkeling and diving, everything
you wish to do in and on water. Not too much going on in the islands! It is
pleasant, if you look for a break and want to rest. Good food, fine dining, no
crowds, and no hassle.
We felt safe everywhere, we were going at day- and
nighttime. Great, little place to stay is Caribbean Paradise Inn
, which is a typical family operated B&B a few yards off
Grace Bay. Nice rooms, elegantly furnished, great care of owners. Prices were
moderate and represented great value.
AA-flights from Miami are a bit
expensive, but this is it, when you look for a somewhat exclusive destination,
which the island still is. No doubt, we go again.
Thanks to John for this trip report ...
