The heart of the country is Mexico City, alive with the sights and sounds of the biggest metropolis on Earth. On the Baja, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. have been a vacationer's delight for many years. These former fishing villages now offer spectacular beaches and golf. Whale watching (mid-January to mid-March) is also a great draw to San Jose del Cabo.
