Anguilla

Searching for tranquility? The Anguilla is the Caribbean getaway of your dreams.

Caribbean island vacation, Anguilla BeachOnly 35 square miles, this beautiful Caribbean island of Anguilla is unique. Life centers around the fabulous, powder-white beaches and the enticing turquoise waters that offer excellent snorkeling and diving among wrecks, reefs and walls. In addition, the sport fishing and sailing can't be bettered. You will also be welcomed by one of the Caribbean's most hospitable people.

Anguilla's uncrowded beaches are second to none. In our opinion Mead's Bay and Shoal Bay are two of the finest Caribbean beaches.

The island's luxury resorts, hotels, inns and villas range from some of the world's most exclusive to affordable.

Anguilla, consistently a favourite hang-out of the rich and famous, features numerous luxury resorts including, Cap Juluca, CuisinArt and Malliouhana. Looking for something a little less glamorous? Try the Carimar - this hotel offers great value and it's right on Mead's Bay Beach. There are also some good bed & breakfasts on the island for those on a budget.

You can go shopping, dine in some of the finest restaurants in the Caribbean or just relax in the sun. If you're a watersports enthusiast then Anguilla is for you!

History buffs will find Wallblake House interesting. Built in 1787 and now fully restored, this plantation house withstood French invasions in the late 18th century. It is the only surviving plantation house on Anguilla and one of the few plantation houses in the Caribbean where the entire complex of buildings including the kitchen, stable and workers quarters have survived virtually intact.

The island is also the home to some of the finest restaurants in the Caribbean. At dusk, beachfront restaurants provide a front row seat for sunset before a star-studded show takes over the sky.

Despite all the glitz...it's the friendliness and hospitality of its people that make Anguilla so enjoyable.
