We just arrived back in Canada from an absolutely wonderful week at Coco's. The view is fabulous, the food fantastic and the staff friendly. Accommodations are very nice, rather rustic, very private and extremely romantic. The outside shower is exactly that, an outside shower. We spent a day with Eli, which was fun, informative and definitely adventurous. Shirley Heights is entertaining and the view is wonderful. The rest of our days were spent eating, reading, drinking, eating, drinking, snoozing, eating, drinking, sleeping and whatever .... all in about that order. I can't remember a more relaxing holiday. We will back to Antigua and to Coco's.
Mosquitoes - Not a Bite!
You hear a lot on this news group about mosquitoes. We used a repellent with deet, once in the morning and again before dinner. Not one bite, and quite honestly there were very few to be seen.
Beach
The water is blue, blue, even if it is a little cloudy. Swimming was great but would not lend itself to snorkeling. Water, sand and surf everywhere you look. Such a view .......... from the room, from the bar, from the restaurant .... breathtaking!
Noise from JBR
You could hear music in the early evening but from our room all we could hear were tree frogs and the surf.
We loved it!
