My husband and I took a trip to the Cayman Islands on August 9th, 2000. We stayed at the beach club resort on the seven mile beach. The hotel wasn't swanky, but the rooms were colorful, clean and up to date. we were fortunate to have an ocean front room not 50 yards from the beach. The food was good.
The water was spectacular-I've been to Hawaii and i can honestly say i would rather go back to the Caymans. We took a chartered trip to sting ray city which was awesome. We were able to swim with sweet, huge stingrays and snorkel. the water in the Caymans is absolutely mesmerizing and I would urge anyone to go. it's great for scuba divers as well as it has beautiful reefs to see. We went parasailing and could see the whole island-it was gorgeous. I hope to go back soon.
