My wife and I late 30's - our third Caribbean trip, visited Brisa del caribe in April 2001. We picked this resort for the beautiful grounds, beach and the little extras, such as 24 hr free room service! beer and pizza 3am no problem!!2 a la carte dinners at two diff. restuarants and two free cruise's one ocean one river.All of these extras were great.
I can't say enough about the beautifull grounds incredible!! great beach lots of shade, no seaweed! Very clean hotel, ots of english spoken, great staff. Large rooms in the new section that include a fridge,not stocked,heard old section not as nice but closer to the beach.
Now for the neg.s;food 7 out of 10 I woulodn't want to eat here for 2 weeks but a week was no problem I gained 5lbs!!No bathrooms down by the beach.All in all we had a great time and a great deal for approx. 1250$can. from the east coast. Hola!
