We just came back from one-week stay at Brisas Santa Lucia. Since I was looking for reviews on this resort on the internet and have not found many I decided to add mine now.
In one sentence "I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT" but then you get what you paid for is it is a fairly inexpensive all-inclusive resort.
Food was my biggest disappointment. It was Cuban... and I don't mind trying something different but simply wasn't good. Not much variety either and I found that a lot of people complained about that.
Drinks were very good and they had any alcohol you desired.
Rooms are ok. It is worse when it come to supplies (i.e. toilet paper, soap) and we only had hot during during the day twice!
They don't have enough beach chairs so people leave their towels on them when they leave for lunch etc. We did the same and we had one stolen (10 USD). They could not care less at the reception as it is normal and we heard other people had their towels stolen as well.
But there were some positives (other the than the weather):
Cubans are very friendly and helpful. They appreciate small gifts not just cash.
Entertainment is average and activities during the day are not properly organized. Sometimes an activity is scheduled but gets forgotten...
Thanks to Chris for this trip report ...
